Finally! This shoot was taken back in Memorial Day at the San Jose Town Hall. That place is a very gorgeous area to take pictures. As I have said in the teaser to this post, you can never go wrong with any angle. Luckily for us, there were no events going on at the time so I was able to get some shots, undisturbed.

Then Amy (the one in Roxas) got hit on by a drunk bum. The situation was unnerving at the time, but looking back now, it's really hilarious! The guy reeked of booze. You'd think he downed a whole bottle of rubbing alcohol.

Overall, not a bad July 4th; I got to spend it with people that made me laugh so hard that I almost cried and a gorgeous location. We watched the sun set and the city come to life at night. I saw more fireworks shows that night than I've seen in my lifetime. And then we saw a tree catch on fire (a pretty big fire too... doggone kids) and the firemen fighting the fire. Unfortunately I wasn't able to catch pictures of fireworks because my camera isn't that great.

I went to Santa Monica on impulse to do some reading. It was very relaxing, very well-needed. I totally forgot how cold the marine layer was after living in the Valley for over a year. I forgot to bring a light jacket and was freezing most of the time. I also managed to get a sunburn on my right shoulder. What?? I NEVER get sunburned! I used to be able to go out in 90 degree weather without sunblock. What is this?

That morning, I also had some really attractive bed hair. It went in directions I've never seen it go before. Of course, my hair being as much of a neat-freak as I am, it went back into its usual place and the bed hair was no more :(

I know not much of Abel's full backstory, but I do have a hypothesis, which is what this work is based on. Aside from his story, Abel started to grow on me, haha. He's one of those characters where he wants to lead a pretty normal life, so he watches movies, loves food, etc. To me, he's the most down-to-earth character in the game [even though he's suffering from amnesia, hehe]

Whatever, so Abel didn't exactly spawn from a bunch of wires, but the general idea of his backstory [so far] is there. He's supposed to be one of the Seth clones but somewhere along the line, the process failed and his body was supposed to be discarded. At least, that's what the game implied verbally. My take on it is that Abel IS the hard copy of Seth. Otherwise, why would Abel babble on about Seth looking like him?

It would suck if my take on it was totally wrong. haha

Anyways, MY MISSION IS A TOTAL SUCCESS!!! WOOO!!!

Aww, look at Gouken's pupils~~~ My, how they've grown to be big tough dudes! I'm sure he appreciates Kenny's radioactive hair.

Originally I wanted to do some photomanip work, but the whole idea took a complete 180 turn on me when I did what I usually do to QC my work: add a black solid. At the time, I was working on Kenny's hair, but started to grow fond of the idea of not showing his face. It looked pretty damn cool, plus it took about 2 hours of work off my shoulders. Talk about lazy, but there are no rules, after all! As long as it works, that's my motto! YEAH BOY!!

My thumbs are sore from playing too much SFIV. Some awesome French dude in the game is starting to rise up as my secondary character (next to Kenny). I wish I was awesome with Guile because Guile is just THAT AWESOME, but alas.

This makes mission 3/4 complete. YEAH!! I think I'm going to do something that pertains to the French dude; his backstory is appealing to me. Let's hope it doesnt disappoint! The next comic by Udon doesn't come out till July which is WAY too long.

I'm on a mission. My mission is to finish a project by every Sunday for the month of April. I almost failed the first yesterday, but I didn't. How? I have absolutely no clue. However, after learning a couple things yesterday it seems I need to add some parameters. Like. Choosing a different style. Or something.

This shoot was taken place in Balboa Park in Van Nuys, CA. It was cherry blossom season at the time, but the verry blossoms were playing stupid little cherry blossom games and decided NOT to bloom until the weekend after. Bastards. Anyway, working with these guys was insanely fun. Matt (the one cosplaying as dark Ryu) is one awesomely hyper individual, Miguel and Jill are the opposite of Matt--- SUPER CHILLAX TO THE MAX. I didn't have to pose them either; they just did their own thing and BAM~

Which means.... New fandom! My fandom tends to change on a month-to-month basis. Sometimes more. Iron Man lasted for a good half year, a little over half a year actually. Christian Bale lasted for two months. My longest fandom was Seto Kaiba from Yu-Gi-Oh. He lasted almost six years. Usually when I'm a fan, I'm a fan for life.

I had a bit of trouble with this one. This picture wasn't exactly my first choice; I wanted Duhamel in his over 9000 Captain Lennox form but all the hi-res images of him had silly silly dumbfounded faces. I was also hoping for any of these frames in hi-res:

Duhamel is a Scorpio, and it totally looks like he has a scorpion's tail! haw haw. Ehhhhh... Well, I thought it was pretty neat.

I already introduced this fella, so check it out. It's my current wallpaper at home. He's one of the reasons why I'm so hyped about Transformers 2. It's him and the bots. And the sound of the cars and jets. Definitely can't forget that. BTW~ Keep your eye out for the Transformers 2 teaser. It will be aired during Super Bowl XLIII this Sunday.

Steve asked me to work on the credit bed of the film and I was up for the request. Because of this, I learned a new technique in Photoshop and all of a sudden, this project got personal. Needless to say, I am really freaking happy with how the animation turned out. I wish there was some way I can post the animation. Stay tuned; I'll find a way somehow. I will also post the movie poster later on in the week. In the meantime, here is the artwork that later on transitioned into the animation. Click on the thumbnail for a bigger view.

O.M.G. MY BELOVED 350Z HAS LEVELED UP BY 20!!

It doesnt look like there isn't much of an evolution from the previous 350Z except for maybe... oh, I don't know, the fact that it's smaller, lighter, grille opening, and revamped head and taillights. Not much of a difference, yeah? However, don't judge the guy by the exterior; inside there is a beast with brains, waiting for someone to strut his stuff. The 3.7-liter now yields 332 horsepower and 270 lb-ft. of torque. The new engine is mated to a six-speed manual transmission, which is unique in that, according to Nissan, it is the world’s first SynchroRev matching tranny. Blip the throttle? PSH, that shit is for n00bz and people who actually want to work.

LA AUTO SHOW :: SCYTHE

For the next 5 entries or so, you will see nothing but cars, cars, cars,cars, CARS. I love all sorts of machinery and cars are no exception. I attended the LA Auto Show last weekend and had fun with all the lighting they've set up. What is my dream car, you ask? That's pretty easy. It's the Audi R8 (starting at $114,200, nonetheless!). Yes, it's the same car that RDJ drove in IRON MAN. Of course, you saw that one coming.

Modeling the F-117a Nighthawk proved to be much harder than it looks. I'm also working on another project that requires some hardcore rendering x4 (by hand, mind you). Lord save me, both will take a hell of a long time to render (maybe not so much the F-117, but if you throw in some of that area shadow and GI my computer will be working very very hard. And it would probably take a long time, though not a couple days). Keep still, I'm learning how to model in different ways.

I'll wear my heart on my sleeve for a moment here. I've been working on the other project for about two months now and it shouldn't take that long. The problem with me is I tend to lose interest very quickly and try and tackle a new project (in this case, the F-117). I've never truly finished a project the whole way through. Yeah. I don't understand what my problem is either. But there you go. I'm giving you permission to kick my ass whenever I give up on a project, OY! This can't happen anymore. I need to learn the meaning of perseverance, discipline, that sort of bullshit.

Fun with pokemon

I have about 15 Pokemon figures and counting. Their use is to collect dust on the shelf. I wanted to use them for something else. Like putting 15 figures + macro lens together to see the results.

One of these days I'll use adequate lighting. Stay tuned while I model this hot stud below in 3D.

The F-117A Nighthawk is one of the sexiest objects I've laid eyes upon (of course, I never really truly laid my eyes upon one, though I really want to).

Why did I start another blog? I have no idea. In the meantime, check out what I've done last night as I figure this out. What better way to start off like a typical normal human being than to post some sort of self-portrait. Created it in under ten minutes with photoshop and an image I found on 4chan while singing the alto part to Hare Hare Yukai.
