LA AUTO SHOW :: LAMBORGHINI

If I can get Christian Bale to pick me up in one of these things in his over 9000 Bruce Wayne form, oh man, I will be one ecstatic panda. *___* Click on the image for a larger view.

Christian Bale

I gotta admit I definitely enjoyed working on this... toned bodies get me every single damned time *-* Now excuse me while I trot off to buy both Batman movies on blu-ray.

LA AUTO SHOW :: SCYTHE

For the next 5 entries or so, you will see nothing but cars, cars, cars,cars, CARS. I love all sorts of machinery and cars are no exception. I attended the LA Auto Show last weekend and had fun with all the lighting they've set up. What is my dream car, you ask? That's pretty easy. It's the Audi R8 (starting at $114,200, nonetheless!). Yes, it's the same car that RDJ drove in IRON MAN. Of course, you saw that one coming.

The first set you see is the Scythe, which was in the Kentia hall. After seeing this monster, you'd see why. Click the image for a larger view.

Aside from procrastinating, I was a bit irresolute about sending this upcoming set to the models. I know I SHOULD, but at the same time I feel I must do my best in order to present the pictures to them. The first round with Photoshop crashed and burned... until Lightroom came into my life. Lightroom is my beacon in the night, my holy grail.

Just take a look at that beauty.

Airgear

Click on the image to view a larger version of these lovey girls. I edited these pics using Adobe Lightroom, and I must say, I love LOVE Lightroom. I used it for the very first time last night with these pics, and I am very happy with the results that LR gives as opposed to PSD.

Break it down, procrastination style.

Here are two things I worked on er.... since senior year of Otis. I finally finished them yesterday. I wish my bed was a scanner. Instead I had to resort to taking pictures:

Take a close look at the dollar bill.

Zabuza-chan~ done with gouache, Prismacolor colored pencils and markers, and Sakura Pigma Micron pens .005. You know, the common everyday shit.

To make it look like I'm actually doing something, here's a project in process:
There's still lots to render, I'm afraid. Then to step two of the process.

My workplace has officially spoiled me. I'm no longer satisfied with working with a single monitor. Please stick around while I do some researching to pimp out my workspace.

Still working...

Modeling the F-117a Nighthawk proved to be much harder than it looks. I'm also working on another project that requires some hardcore rendering x4 (by hand, mind you). Lord save me, both will take a hell of a long time to render (maybe not so much the F-117, but if you throw in some of that area shadow and GI my computer will be working very very hard. And it would probably take a long time, though not a couple days). Keep still, I'm learning how to model in different ways.

I'll wear my heart on my sleeve for a moment here. I've been working on the other project for about two months now and it shouldn't take that long. The problem with me is I tend to lose interest very quickly and try and tackle a new project (in this case, the F-117). I've never truly finished a project the whole way through. Yeah. I don't understand what my problem is either. But there you go. I'm giving you permission to kick my ass whenever I give up on a project, OY! This can't happen anymore. I need to learn the meaning of perseverance, discipline, that sort of bullshit.

Okay. ::tucks heart in a place inaccessible::

Fun with pokemon

I have about 15 Pokemon figures and counting. Their use is to collect dust on the shelf. I wanted to use them for something else. Like putting 15 figures + macro lens together to see the results.

One of these days I'll use adequate lighting. Stay tuned while I model this hot stud below in 3D.

The F-117A Nighthawk is one of the sexiest objects I've laid eyes upon (of course, I never really truly laid my eyes upon one, though I really want to).

January

Why did I start another blog? I have no idea. In the meantime, check out what I've done last night as I figure this out. What better way to start off like a typical normal human being than to post some sort of self-portrait. Created it in under ten minutes with photoshop and an image I found on 4chan while singing the alto part to Hare Hare Yukai.
